01Our commitment
Connectiva Labs has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form, in any of our apps or services.
These published standards apply to every app we develop and operate, including all social, chat, and user-generated-content features. They align with the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy, and we review them regularly as our apps and applicable laws evolve.
02Prohibited content & behaviour
The following are strictly prohibited across all our Services. We remove such content, terminate the accounts involved, and report to the appropriate authorities:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any visual, written, or audio content that sexualises or depicts the sexual abuse of a minor, whether real, altered, or generated;
- Grooming — befriending or building trust with a child to enable sexual contact, exploitation, or abuse, online or offline;
- Sextortion — threatening or blackmailing a child using real or alleged intimate images;
- Sexualisation of minors — any content or behaviour that presents a child in a sexualised manner;
- Trafficking or solicitation — advertising, soliciting, or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a child in any way.
03How to report
In-app reporting
Our apps with user-generated content or user interaction include built-in reporting: use the Report option on the content, profile, or conversation. Reports involving child safety are prioritised ahead of all other moderation queues.
Direct reporting
Email our child safety team: safety@connectivalabs.com
Include the app name, the account or content involved, and screenshots if available. You may report anonymously.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first. In India, you can also report to the National Cyber Crime Portal at cybercrime.gov.in or call the helpline 1930.
04How we act on reports
- Child-safety reports are reviewed on priority, ahead of all other reports;
- Content that violates this policy is removed immediately upon confirmation;
- Accounts involved are permanently banned, along with associated accounts we can identify;
- We preserve evidence as required by law so that authorities can investigate;
- We use a combination of user reports, moderation, and automated detection to identify violating content proactively.
05Cooperation with authorities
When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM or CSAE activity, we report it to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable, and relevant law enforcement agencies in India and other jurisdictions. We respond promptly to lawful requests from law enforcement relating to child safety.
06Age requirements
Our Services are intended for users aged 13 and above (or the higher minimum age applicable in your country). Accounts found to belong to underage users are removed, and their data is deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.
07Legal compliance
We comply with applicable child safety laws in the regions where our apps operate, including India's Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, as well as other applicable national and international child protection laws and the child safety requirements of the app stores where our apps are distributed.
