ConnectX Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of the ConnectX app, operated by Connectiva Labs ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using ConnectX, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

01Acceptance of terms

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use ConnectX. We may update these Terms; for material changes we will notify you in the app before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated Terms.

02Eligibility — 18+

You must also not be barred from using the app under applicable law, and must not have been previously banned from ConnectX for safety violations.

03Your account

• One account per person; your account is for personal, non-commercial use.
• Provide accurate information — including your real date of birth — and keep your login (phone/OTP) secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us immediately at support.connectx@connectivalabs.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

04Community rules

ConnectX exists to be a safe space. You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse anyone — including hate speech targeting anyone's identity, orientation, or expression;
• Post or share sexual content involving minors in any form — this leads to an immediate permanent ban and a report to authorities;
• Impersonate someone else, use fake photos, or misrepresent your age or identity;
• Share other users' private information or content outside the app without their consent (including screenshots of chats or profiles);
• Out anyone — revealing another user's identity or orientation without consent is a serious violation;
• Solicit money, promote commercial services, or spam other users;
• Use the app for any illegal activity, or attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt it.

We may remove content, restrict features, or ban accounts that violate these rules.

05Your content

You keep ownership of your photos, bio, and messages. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host and display that content solely to operate ConnectX (for example showing your profile to other users). You confirm you have the rights to everything you post, and that your profile photos are of you.

06Safety & interactions

• We do not run criminal background checks on users. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users — be careful, meet in public places, and trust your instincts.
• Use the in-app Report and Block tools for anyone who makes you uncomfortable.
• Never send money to anyone you meet on ConnectX.

07Premium & purchases

ConnectX offers an optional Premium subscription. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are described in our Payment & Cancellation policy, which is part of these Terms. Purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their terms.

08Intellectual property

The ConnectX app, name, design, and code belong to Connectiva Labs. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable licence to use the app as intended. Do not copy, modify, or create derivative works from it except as the law permits.

09Disclaimers

ConnectX is provided "as is". We do not guarantee matches, compatibility, user conduct, or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties.

10Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Connectiva Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the conduct of any user on or off the app. Our total liability for claims relating to ConnectX is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹5,000, whichever is greater. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11Termination

You can delete your account at any time (see Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the community — for serious safety violations, immediately and permanently.

12Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
